This week we close out God’s creative account, with the creation of woman and the establishment of marriage. As we pause to see God’s design, it is almost impossible to comprehend, due to the brokenness we see around us. Yet, God wants us to know what it was designed to be, so that in Christ, we may see the beauty of His love for us and joy for one of the greatest gifts he’s given. It is such a beautiful picture he uses marriage as a picture of our arrival in heaven, and the “Wedding feast of the Lamb.” Let us rejoice in God’s design.
