About This Series
Paul writes to a young Pastor Timothy that, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We begin our study of Genesis understanding that all of God’s word is useful for us today. It isn’t just history, but God’s saving activity throughout time for us. We can’t help but read each account through the eyes of faith, seeing God’s grace in history, for us. We see in each account our Savior, Jesus. This journey is designed to be more of a guided tour through Genesis, than a master’s class on the book. But as with any tour, feel free to reach out to your tour guide, Pastor Kelly, and ask questions along the way.
