Feeling stressed? You're not alone.
Anxiety is something everyone deals with to some degree. In fact anxiety is at an all-time high. In this chaotic, uncertain world, there are lots of reasons why. The good news is lots of people in the Bible struggled with anxiety, too.
Yet, operating from a full-time place of anxiety isn't great for you. Anxiety doesn't accomplish anything fruitful. And the truth is God has a better path forward for facing life's challenges and uncertainties. As one Christian author writes,
"The presence of anxiety is unavoidable, but the prison of anxiety is optional. Anxiety comes with life. But it doesn’t have to dominate your life."
As disciples of Jesus, we know the peace that only he can give, but we still live in a world that is impacted by sin. Below are a series of resources designed around God’s Word to help you experience the peace only God can give amid times anxiety or fear. Use them if they will help, but also don’t hesitate to reach out to Pastor Kelly, part of his role as Pastor or Shepherd is to help us refocus or even see Jesus in times of trouble, fear, and anxiety.
You are not alone. It’s ok to not be okay!
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8
