Part of gathering with friends and family is the phrase, “Remember when…” as you recount past adventures, comments, and shared experiences. As the year draws to a close, it is a time when we naturally also “remember” things from 2024. Some have had the best year of their lives, others it may rank among the worst yet, and still others are just shocked it’s over. When it comes to Enjoying God’s Christmas Gift, perhaps the hardest part is “remembering it.” This week we flash back to the end of Jacob’s life and learn from one whose life was filled with joys and tragedies, how do we “remember it.”
