In many ways Jesus’ doesn’t meat the expectations we have of a savior. We don’t have a perfect life. We don’t experience perfect peace. We experience pain, sorrow, grief, worry, and fear. If he were the Savior I expect, he’d make my life perfect, here and now. Thankfully he’s not the Savior we expect, but the one we need.
