If you knew, you wouldn’t want me close. There are things in my past and present that haunt and consume me.
My guilt and shame keep me from sharing, afraid of judgement, rebuke, anger, and rejection, not only by others but by God himself. God didn’t send his son to die, so that we could live in guilt and shame, but to free us. This weekend we see that forgiveness front and center and the hope it gives.
