Jesus’ mercy is next level. He teaches the beatitudes in Luke 6, and it’s hard to understand how one can be blessed when life is falling apart. God used Luke to help us see his mercy is more than just teaching, but God in the flesh in the midst of pain and sorrow. This week we see Jesus praise one of the most unlikely people for great faith, and then respond in mercy amid pain and tears. We have a God who knows our pains, our fears, and walks with us and restores life!
